My Grandpa has a farm and he plowed a place for us to plant potatoes and pumpkins. My neighbors let us help with their garden and they plant peas, squash, carrots, and other things like that. This is me unplugging the rows of water with a hoe.

my new little brother

Meet Griffin.
Look how cute he is. ( He sleeps a lot).

Me holding him for the first time.  I was so excited!

My Grandma Barb knit this hat for him.  He wore it home from the hospital.  He looks so cute in it.

Me, Griff, and Mom.  Home at last!  My Grandma came and got me early from school so I could be home when the baby came home.

Alex and I decorated this poster for Griffin, Mom, and Dad.  It said WELCOME HOME BABY GRIFFIN, MOM, AND DAD.

I like it when he snuggles against me.  He is so warm and fuzzy!  He has a lot of hair.

He is so small right now, but he'll grow really fast.  Darn it!  I am excited to have him in our family.  He is so special.  I am a lucky Big Sister!
Oh, I have a funny story....
My mom took a nap.  Dad and I were in charge!  First Griffin spit-up all over his clothes.  Then he pooped in his diaper.  Dad and I went in to change his diaper.  While dad was wiping his bum, Griffin peed on his own face---yuck!  I was laughing so hard.  Dad finally got him all cleaned up after that accident.  It was funny!

My Tiger!

This year for the Reflections contest the theme was "BEAUTY IS..." I had started to like tigers so my Dad and I went online to look at a picture of a tigers face. Then for Reflections I looked at the tiger we found and added its body. Then painted it and...TA DA! It was  called, Beauty is a Tiger's stripes."  I put black glitter on the black stripes.  Oh and you know I usually make fun of my grandpa...well, he did the mat board around the picture, so I guess I owe him a big THANKS!

The Tiger is roaring "Hello" to you!

Alex also won.  He painted and cut a picture of himself catching a Rainbow Trout.  Good Job AJ!

It was fun that we both won.

Christmas fun in Salt lake

On Friday night we went to a hotel in Salt Lake.  The next morning we got to go  to Thanksgiving Point and have breakfast with Santa. We wore our pajamas, sat with Santa, and did different activities.  The Grinch was there too.  He is in the picture up above.

This is Alex, Lane, and I with Santa. Lane is asking for a ....a orange horse. He was kind of scared of Santa at first but he finally told him.

Mrs. Clause gave us reindeer food to put out on the lawn on Christmas eve.

There were activities for us to do.  One of them was making Grinch masks!  This is Laninch, Alexinch, and Madisinch.

There was a big, soft, furry polar bear walking around hugging the children.  He was cozy!

We got to stay overnight in a hotel.  This is us loving the warm hot tub as it snowed outside!  My dad challenged us to run outside and sit in the snow, then put our face in the snow too.  We all did it (except mom and Lane).  We would come inside and jump in the hot tub....oh ya!

In the night we went to Temple Square to see the pretty lights.  Here we are standing in front of a big tree with a billion white lights.  I wonder how long it took to put them up.   I bet my dad would like to put up those lights!  Heee Hee!  Or maybe even my Grandpa would like to help.

There was a lot of clear water fountains running through Temple Square.  I thought they were really pretty and looked good with all the colored lights.

This was one of my favorite scenes.  It was the temple with lots of orange and yellow lighted trees.

This is us standing under a big tree with red lights.

This picture shows how the red lights glowed in the night.  It was beautiful.
We had a lot of fun in Salt Lake.  If you get the chance you should go see the lights.  It puts you in the Christmas spirit.
Merry Christmas!

Me and my family I like to spend time in the mountains.

My dad carved mine and Alex's name in a tree. This is my name in MY tree don't even think about carving your name in MY tree!

This is me, only in monkey form. Hay. monkeys out there do your hands ever start hurting when you clime trees?Oh wait monkeys probably don't look at blogs. Darn it.
This is me driving but DON'T look  to closely because well..... my tounge is sticking out. Wait, why did I just say that?

That's Alex driving. I don't think that his tounge is showing.  He looks cool.

That is aaaaaaa ok I'll tell you the truth, that's my grandpa in the morning at the cabin, but...... I hope he doesn't go out in public like that!
